Apple iPhone 5S and 5C
Come September there will be a flux of new gadgets in the tech market from nearly every tech giant, Apple being no exception. Rumours say that Apple is planning to reveal not one but two new iPhone models in Q4, the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
It is expected that both the models are off-shoots of the same branch. The ‘iPhone 5C’ seems to be a candy-coloured (perhaps that’s why the ‘C’?), plastic-backed version – targeted towards a more-oriented market.
The iPhone 5S on the on the other hand is speculated to be a higher-end phone and seems like an upgrade to last year’s iPhone 5. Although the iPhone 5 was an upgrade of sorts to the 4/4S, it wasn’t anything revolutionary, so it’s hard to say what we can expect from the iPhones 5S and 5C. That being said, there are few photos floating around of a subtle gold and white model – most likely an iPhone 5S variation. Other expected colours include the standard black and white models as well as a slate grey addition.
It is also rumoured that the latest iPhone will carry the Apple A7 processor. It will most likely be a dual-core processor with improved system speed. Given all the hype surrounding the new iOS7, it is probably a safe bet to assume that the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will feature the iOS7. What else will it carry that will set it apart? Perhaps more storage. It would be wonderful improvement if Apple could improve the battery life too.
